(Notes from Bob...)
Lot's of work has been done on this project.
But you can't see it, yet, because it's not on the Web.
Yet.
To date (December, 1999) I have located, identified, chosen, and scanned 500+ photos from family albums, scrapbooks,
and loose piles in boxes in garages and closets. Some new, some very old. From Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and Waynesboro,
Pennsylvania, and Knoxville, Tennesee, and Phoenix, Arizona, and Sylmar & Yorba Linda in California.
Presently, I am entering the photos in a database that will include the photo's date (as good as I can tell), who
is in the image, and a description of what the photo is about. Sort of a "Who, What, When, Where" thing.
Following that, I will figure out how to load all that onto the web, with a way for you to find the photo(s) you
want. A "Search" thing.
Also, a companion part of this effort has been to develop a Family Tree (the "Ancestor" thing) to put
alongside these photos. The current results of THAT effort can be seen on the Web in a normal "box-style"
format here:
