We loaded a UHaul trailer during the day and left Sylmar at 4:30 on
a rainy evening.
Our Carl's Jr. burgers in Gorman were absolutely fantastic.
It continued to rain through the night as we rolled up Interstate 5. We stopped for a couple of hours north of
Sacramento (about 2:00 am) and then another couple of hours in Medford, Oregon (about 9:00 am).
Otherwise we and the kitties drove straight through to Port Angeles and arrived at our new home at 7:30 that night.
27 hours on the road. And bushed.
This is a pictorial essay of the drive, but mostly of the unpacking.
